Terms of use
- It's free during the beta, with no guarantees about uptime or accuracy.
- The data is generated automatically and can be wrong, late or incomplete. Check before you act on it.
- You're responsible for what you and your agents do with it.
- Don't overload it, and don't copy the whole dataset to republish it.
These terms cover the Wisco Labs website and API (the "service"). By using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use it.
The beta
The service is free while it's in beta. We may change it, limit it, or stop offering it at any time, with or without notice. If paid plans are added later, they'll come with their own terms, and these terms will continue to cover free use.
What the data is, and isn't
Answers are built automatically from public sources: package registries, project release notes and changelogs, and public vulnerability databases. Release notes are sorted into categories like "removed" or "deprecated" by software, which makes mistakes. Sources can be missing, late or wrong themselves.
The service is a research aid, not a security audit. A clean result doesn't mean a package is safe, and a suggested version isn't a guarantee that an upgrade will work. Test changes before you deploy them. You're responsible for decisions made using the service, including changes your AI agents make on your behalf.
Acceptable use
- Stay within the rate limits, and don't try to get around them, for example by rotating addresses.
- Don't try to disrupt, overload or break into the service.
- Don't copy the dataset in bulk to republish or resell it. Using individual answers in your own tools, products and agents is fine.
- Don't send data you aren't allowed to share.
We may block traffic that breaks these rules.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Wisco Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim about the free service is limited to $0.
